The UTSA Headache Cure Board is a new, donor-funded experiential learning program that challenges students to apply data science, AI, and machine learning to solve real-world problems submitted by industry and community partners.
Made possible through a gift from FEDITC, LLC, the program invites students to become problem-solvers for the future—by working on what others call “headaches.”
Anyone. Interdisciplinary team participation is encouraged.
Student teams compete for prizes—including recognition, stipends, and bragging rights—as they present solutions before an audience of peers, faculty, and professional partners.
FEDITC, LLC is a technology services firm committed to solving complex problems for federal clients through innovative and secure technology solutions. Their gift to UTSA empowers the next generation of data scientists to do the same.
Are you a potential partner with a challenge to submit—or a student who’s ready to dive in?
