Professor - Kyrie Zhou

Ryker is a Service Desk Technician for 4+ years, pursuing a Post-Bac in Computer Science at UTSA (Prev B.B.A in Cyber from UTSA) with a strong interest in distributed computing and scalable infrastructure. My experience is in supporting enterprise IAM, endpoint management, and DevSecOps initiatives has given me insight into the challenges of maintaining reliability and security across distributed environments. I’m broadly interested in distributed systems and infrastructure, but I’m still exploring areas like security, data systems, and scalability.

Sediqa Mangal is a Management Information Systems and Technology student at UT San Antonio with four years of professional experience across the health, education, and public service sectors. Drawing on a diverse background in law and political science, she leverages her multilingual proficiency and technical expertise to bridge the gap between complex data and social impact. She is currently an H-E-B Research Fellow focused on leveraging artificial intelligence to solve complex community challenges.

I'm a Computer Science junior with an interest in low-level programming. My recent projects include an x86 assembler, 3D voxel engine, and a custom operating system from scratch. I'm excited for the opportunity to do research this summer!
