Fourteen College of AI, Cyber and Computing faculty members earned tenure or promotions this fall.

Joining more than 200 faculty members across UT San Antonio’s colleges and campuses, 14 faculty members from the College of AI, Cyber and Computing were promoted or earned tenure this fall semester.

Founding Dean Jinjun Xiong, PhD, said the promotions recognize the faculty members’ outstanding contributions to the university, their disciplines and the students they serve, while reflecting the college’s growing impact in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, computing and data science.

“As we begin a new academic year, I’m proud to recognize our faculty for their accomplishments as scholars and educators who are shaping the future of our college,” Xiong said. “Their work in teaching, research and mentorship strengthens our academic community and moves the college forward.”

Faculty earn tenure based on their achievements in teaching, research, scholarship, creative activities and service. Promotions include:
