The College of AI, Cyber and Computing is pleased to welcome Yolanda Gutierrez as Senior Program Operations Manager. In her role, Gutierrez supports programs and projects across the college, helping keep operations, logistics and planning moving forward.
Gutierrez brings a background in hospitality, event planning and venue management, and has been with UT San Antonio since 2019. Her experience includes time with the Student Union, where she worked closely with students, faculty and staff and gained a strong understanding of how well-managed spaces support successful programs.
She values clear communication, welcomes new ideas and believes collaboration often leads to better outcomes. She brings a good sense of humor to her work and may try to brighten your day with a well-timed joke.
As a proud San Antonio native, Gutierrez is excited to be part of a growing downtown campus and to help support the college as it continues to expand.
When she is not at work, you can find her spending time with family and friends, working on creative home and garden projects, catching the latest Marvel movie or spoiling her tuxedo cat.
