Assistant Professor of Instruction, Statistics and Data Science
Dr. Ruvini Jayamaha is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in Statistics and Data Science in the College of AI, Cyber and Computing at The University of Texas at San Antonio. She previously served as a Lecturer of Data Science and Analytics in the School of Data Science and Analytics at Kennesaw State University. She holds a PhD in Statistics from Western Michigan University, an MSc in Mathematics from Western Illinois University, and a BSc (Special) in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. She teaches courses in statistics and data science and is interested in helping students develop strong statistical foundations and apply statistical methods to real-world problems.
