About the College of AI, Cyber and Computing

The College of AI, Cyber and Computing is UTSA's newest academic unit, created to meet the growing demand for innovation, talent, and research in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, computing, and data science. Based in downtown San Antonio, the college brings together four departments to deliver high-impact education and research that supports workforce development and drives economic growth in the region and beyond.

Building on the success of UTSA's School of Data Science, the college represents the next step in the university's strategy to align academic strengths with industry demands and student interest in emerging technologies.  With more than 6,000 students enrolled, the college prepares a future-ready workforce through forward-looking degree programs, applied learning experiences, and strategic partnerships with industry, government, and community organizations.

Its interdisciplinary research spans critical domains such as trustworthy AI, cloud computing, immersive human-computer interaction, predictive healthcare analytics, and secure infrastructure.  The college advances UTSA's role as a national leader in technology and innovation.
